Is
this a very complex system to run?
This
is one of the simplest types of hydroponics systems to use.
Deep Water Culture was the first ever hydroponics method used,
and continues to be a popular
choice. Full instruction are supplied
on how to set up and run
What
light should I use?
You can use a 250 watt or 400 watt HPS light when running a
single DWC unit, or, use a 400 HPS watt and run two DWC systems
side by side. The 400 watt light will produce better results
as the higher lumen output will encourage faster growth and
heavier yields. A 400 watt HPS is ideal to run inside the medium
sized cabinet with the DWC system(s) that's featured on the
pictures page.
How
do you fill it?
When you first set it up, it is filled with 35 litres of water.
As the plant grows and consumes the nutrient and water, you
simply pour the water into the filling hole. It is advised to
empty the tank and fill it up with a fresh batch every two to
three weeks
Does
this perform as well as other hydro systems?
Yes. Most hydroponics systems operate at around the same level
and this system is no different. It is one of the most cost
effective systems available to produce high yields
