FAQ
What
light should I use with this System?
You
can use a 400 watt HPS or a 600 watt HPS light, either are fine.
For maximum performance the 600 watt will deliver better results.
How
much assembly is required?
To make the unit compact for shipping, the unit requires the gully
droppers and end-caps to be glued into place. This takes approximately
10 to 15 minutes and there are detailed instructions provided.
Does
the pump have a warranty?
The pumps used in the Rapidponics systems are Sicce. These are
high quality Italian pumps that have a one year warranty.
Are
the gullies easy to clean?
The
gullies should be lined with gully matt (supplied) to help evenly
spread the water across the bottom of the gully. Come harvest
time, the roots will be thoroughly embedded into this mat and
removing it is simply a case of pulling the end of the gully mat
out the dropper hole. This removes 99% of the roots, to get rid
of the remaining roots simply turn your pump on and rock the gully
side to side so they are washed down and out into the tank.
